At the center of Alta’s redesign is an 8-inch sunlight-readable display housed in a thinner, more ergonomic industrial design. Comfortable to carry throughout the day, Alta offers the portability field users need without compromising durability.
Juniper’s field devices are engineered to perform with finger, glove, stylus, and in wet conditions. Alta elevates this capability further by incorporating digitizer and EMR technology with optional stylus for precise interactions, even when a surprise rainstorm falls across the screen.
Built to endure demanding environments, Alta’s rugged design meets MIL-STD-810H standards, giving users confidence that their device can handle challenging field conditions. Alta also carries an IP68 rating, making it a dependable waterproof tablet with protection against dust and water ingress. The expanded operating temperature range (-20°F to 145°F/-29°C to 63°C) means that Alta is well-suited for extremely cold or hot environments.
