Juniper Systems had another great showing at the Esri 2025 User Conference Expo, held in San Diego, California on July 14-18! As one of over 200 exhibitors and an estimated 18,000+ attendees including divers professionals from data scientists, spatial analysts, and GIS experts to tech directors, educators and research faculty, our team connected with hundreds showing interest in our geospatial solutions. As expected, those that stopped by our booth were especially interested in our Geode GNSS receiver, the Archer 4 with the GNSS expansion pod, and our Uinta data collection and mapping software. Here are some key features of these solutions that piqued the interest of those that visited the booth!
Geode GNSS Receiver
Reliable, compact, and easy to use, the Geode GNSS Receiver continues to stand out as a trusted tool for field data collection. Attendees were drawn to its high-accuracy performance, sub-meter, sub-foot, and centimeter-level options featuring RTK without the complexity often found with other GNSS receivers. Many teams appreciated that the Geode pairs seamlessly with Android, Windows, and iOS devices and works with popular GIS apps, making it easy to integrate into existing workflows. Rugged with all-day battery life, the Geode’s versatility made it a talking point for utility mapping, environmental monitoring, and field research applications.
Archer 4 with GNSS Expansion Pod
The Archer 4 with the GNSS Expansion Pod generated serious interest for teams needing an all-in-one data collection solution built for tough fieldwork. Visitors were particularly excited about the powerful combo of a rugged handheld having an optional GNSS pod for reliable centimeter-level RTK positioning. Its performance in bright sunlight, glove-friendly touchscreen, and all-day battery life with hot-swappable batteries, make it a go-to for demanding field conditions. With an Android operating system, the Archer 4 supports a wide range of mapping and data collection apps available on the Google Play store, allowing GIS teams to tailor their workflows with familiar tools.
Uinta Mapping & Data Collection Software
Our Uinta data collection and mapping software stood out as a flexible, field-ready solution for teams needing an intuitive way to capture and manage spatial data. Built for ease of use, Uinta allows field users to create custom mapping projects, collect geotagged photos, take notes, and sync data effortlessly. What resonated with many Esri attendees was Uinta’s ability to export data in Esri-compatible formats, making it easy to integrate into existing ArcGIS workflows. Whether teams were mapping utilities, field assets, or environmental data, Uinta offered a streamlined way to bridge field collection with Esri-based analysis and visualization.
