We are sorry to hear about the passing of Roger Tomlinson, considered the Father of GIS. Tomlinson was an English geographer and was the major innovator of modern computerized GIS. He will be greatly missed in the GIS community and elsewhere.
Here’s a quick trade show update. Juniper Systems is headed to CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2014 in Las Vegas from March 4-8. If you haven’t heard of it, CONEXPO-CON/AGG is a huge trade show that features new products and technologies from 2,400 exhibitors in every major construction industry.
